Swing of relief

Yesterday’s golf at the 2014 ClubsNSW Academy Games was no easy feat, as the golfers from their respective  Academies struggled through very unpleasant weather conditions at Shell Cove Golf Club to compete on the first day.
Today however has brought a welcome change, with mainly sunshine at Kiama Golf Club, allowing the competing Academies to focus purely on their golfing game, instead of having to worry about also competing with rainy and windy weather conditions.
The competing Academies were the Illawarra Academy of Sport, South West Sydney Academy of Sport, North Coast Academy of Sport, Northern Inland Academy of Sport, Central Coast Academy of Sport, Western Sydney Academy of Sport and South East Regional Academy of Sport. A total of 48 players combined to compete in the Academy Games golf event, with all teeing off today and yesterday.
