Netball action continues to deliver

The netball action at the 2014 ClubsNSW Academy Games continues to excite the crowd with some intense, fast paced action that sees all teams playing to the best of their abilities. While all teams have stand-out players and are putting in a relentless effort, some have recorded particularly strong results.

The Sydney Netball Academy (SNA) have won all but one game, in which they went down to their opposition in a close, hard fought battle. The SNA girls have put in fiercely competitive performances that see them as tough opposition for all other team.  Kirrily Lows has put in several stand-out MVP performances.

Another team with a solid track record from today’s play is Hunter Academy of Sport (HAS), with captain Tiu Holland putting in a number of MVP performances.

This year for the first time, the Academy Games has welcomed visiting New Zealand side St Margarets. The visitors are making a positive impression in their inaugural visit, competing strongly and getting some hard fought wins on the board.

Overall, all Academies are putting in their best efforts and players are showing they understand what an honour it is to be chosen to represent their region.
