body representing the 11 Regional Academies of Sport
that operate across New South Wales.

ClubsNSW Academy Games Countdown

WITH just two days to go, regional academies are counting down to the 2015 ClubsNSW Academy Games.

The three-day event is an opportunity for the states up and coming athletes to showcase their talent, hard work and dedication across a myriad of sports.

This year, the event will be hosted by the Central Coast Academy of Sport (CCAS). The CCAS is incredibly excited to play host to so many talented athletes across one weekend and has been working tirelessly to ensure that weekend of competition is not one to be forgotten.

Emily Burgess-Moore, coordinator of the 2015 ClubsNSW Academy Games said, "We're incredibly excited to be hosting such a huge event. We hope that it will live up to the expectations it has achieved in previous years."

There will be over 700 athletes making hte journey to the Central Coast, competing across six different sports. Including AFL, basketball, golf, hockey, netball and triathlon. 

The opening ceremony kicks off this Friday 10 April, where athletes, coaches, sponsors and the like will all gather to discuss their excitement, nervousness and hopes for the ClubsNSW Academy Games.

The ceremony will close out with a bang, as the basketball competition kicks off in preparation for a competitive three days of play.

In just two days, athletes with years of experience and training will take to the field, court and track in a weekend of fierce competition and sportsmanship.
