The Academy Games is an initiative of the Academies of Sport Incorporated (ASi). ASi is made up of member bodies from the Regional Academy Network.

Competition Dates:
Wednesday 7th April - Friday 9th April 2010

Competition Times:
Wednesday 7th            12.00 pm  -   5.00  pm 
Thursday 8th                  8.00 am  -   5.00  pm
Friday 9th                       7.00 am  -  12.00 pm

Competition Format:
Individual Stroke play 54 hole event (adjusted to par based on H/cap) + a 36 Hole single stroke event (Thursday and Friday) . Played under the rules as set by the R & A.

Competition Information:
Wednesday       12.00pm Start 18 Hole Stroke  (Registration from 11.30am)
Thursday             8.00am Start 18 Hole Stroke  (Registration from 7.30am)
Friday                  7.00am Start 18 Hole Stroke  (Registration from 6.30am)

Playing Opportunities:
Each Academy can bring a maximum of four (4) players, should Academies wish to bring more than 4 players this must be first approved by the golf convenor.

Age Group:
Athletes born between 1992 and 1998 (aged 12-18) will be eligible to compete in the event.

Practice Times:
Available Tuesday afternoon (7 April). Players to register direct with the Pro' shop at the Armidale Golf Club.

Handicap Limit:
No athlete with a handicap of 15 or more is eligible to play unless approved by the Golf Convenor. All players must have an official GA/WGA handicap.
