that operate across New South Wales.

Welcome to the 2017 ClubsNSW Academy Games

The 2017 ClubsNSW Academy Games will be hosted by the Central Coast Academy of Sport over the period Friday 7th- Sunday 9th April across the beautiful Central Coast region.

The 2017 ClubsNSW Academy Games will showcase the states best emerging athletes across nine (9) sports including Basketball, Golf, Hockey, Netball, Rugby Sevens, Softball, Tenpin Bowling,Triathlon and a Surfing exhibition.

ClubsNSW has been the principle partner for the Academy Games since its inception, and the RASi is proud to be associated with such a supportive and progressive organisation.

The NSW Government, through the Office of Sport, also provides strong support for the Games.

The 2017 ClubsNSW Academy Games is supported by the Central Coast Council and media partners NBN and Southern Cross Austreo Network.


The Regional Academies of Sport Incorporated (RASi) NSW network covers each of the points of the compass' in NSW and the Vision and Charter of the RASi is 'To be a collaborative, efficient and integrated lead organisation for Regional Academies of Sport'.

The Regional Academies of Sport Incorporated (RASi) is a unique body representing the eleven (11) Regional Academies of Sport (RAS) operating across New South Wales . Academies include; Central Coast, Far West, Hunter, Illawarra, North Coast , Northern Inland, Southern, South East, South West Sydney, Western Region and Western Sydney. RASi is the owner of the ClubsNSW Academy Games and works with the event host academy to co-ordinate the event.

The RASi network represents an amazing geographic spread across NSW, over 100 Local Government areas and encompasses some 2,000 athletes, 300 coaching and program staff with a combined annual operating budget in excess of $4 million. In essence the Regional Academies of Sport Incorporated NSW is the delivery arm of pre elite athlete development, a unique position in the state of NSW and one that has significant commercial advantage.

The development of the 'Academy Games' is the first demonstration of the strength and commitment of the RAS Network to deliver tangible benefits to athletes throughout NSW.
