The ClubsNSW Academy Games is an annual event that was developed by the Academies of Sport Incorporated (ASi). The event brings together close to 1,000 talented athletes and support staff to compete in a Multisport developmental atmosphere for 3 days across 7 exciting sports. The ClubsNSW Academy Games commenced in 2005 with the Central Coast Academy of Sport hosting the event for the initial 3 years. The Northern Inland Academy of Sport hosted the event for the 3rd and final time in April 2011. The baton has been handed to Illawarra Academy of Sport to host the ClubsNSW Academy Games in 2012, 2013 and 2014.
