Due to the clash and Clubs NSW (Games key partner) involvement with the World Masters Games that will be held in Sydney October 2008 a decision by the organisers has been made  to pre-empt  next year’s issue and reschedule the event to next April 2009 and then hold the games in April each year thereafter. This decision has full endorsement from each regional Academy and will lead to increased participation in a number of sports. The proposed new dates are:

 Friday 17 to Sunday 19 April 2009.
